New ADL and Boundless research reveals a troubling reality: many Americans ages 18–44 have a hard time recognizing antisemitism online, even when it’s blatant. Up to 37% of those surveyed didn’t recognize certain posts targeting Israel and Zionism as antisemitic, and 29% failed to recognize classic antisemitic tropes and slurs like calling Jews “money grubbing.” We can’t fight hate if we can’t recognize it. ADL has filed a federal civil rights complaint alleging that a Jewish student was subjected to severe, persistent and pervasive antisemitic harassment, culminating in a physical assault while enrolled at Desert Shadows Middle School in the Paradise Valley Unified School District in Scottsdale, Arizona. The student was called a “dirty filthy Jew,” told she should be “gassed” in a concentration camp and then shoved across a desk into a cabinet. School officials failed to effectively address the ongoing antisemitic harassment, responding with dismissiveness and delay. One administrator even excused the behavior by suggesting that one of the harassers had a crush on the victim. Rather than protecting the student, the school placed her in a class with one of her harassers and ultimately confined her to the principal’s office. The student has since transferred to a different school district. Learn more at the link in bio.

It's been 8 years since a gunman opened fire during Shabbat morning services at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh, murdering 11 innocent people and injuring 7 others. The attack marked the deadliest act of antisemitism in U.S. history. Today, the heartbreak of that horrific day remains. 11 innocent lives were stolen and an entire community was forever changed. We continue to mourn those so mercilessly taken from this world simply because they were Jewish. May the memories of Rose Mallinger, Jerry Rabinowitz, Joyce Fienberg, Irving Younger, Melvin Wax, Sylvan Simon, Bernice Simon, David Rosenthal, Cecil Rosenthal, Richard Gottfried, and Daniel Stein forever be a blessing.

As the 2026 election season draws to a close, ADL calls on leaders across the political spectrum to reject rhetoric that fuels antisemitism and other forms of hate and division. With so many closely contested and consequential races, the temptation to resort to divisive rhetoric is especially strong. Yet candidates, parties, campaigns and their supporters have a responsibility to refrain from scapegoating, stereotyping or dehumanizing any community. Throughout this election season, we have seen such rhetoric across the political spectrum, including this past weekend. Words have consequences. Rhetoric that portrays Jews or any other community as dangerous, disloyal or responsible for society's problems fuels hatred that can lead to harassment, threats and violence. We urge all leaders to condemn antisemitism and all other forms of bigotry, whatever the source, and reject attempts to exploit prejudice for political gain. Debate and disagreement are part of democracy. Hate and violence are not.

Holocaust trivialization. Vile antisemitic rhetoric. Demonization of Jews. Praise for terrorists. Fantasies about violence against Jews and Israelis. This is what you can expect from Susan Abulhawa, a bestselling novelist with a major publisher and a sizeable social media following. She uses her perceived credibility to spread explicit antisemitism at a time when antisemitic incidents worldwide are at record levels. Swipe to learn more and check out the link in bio.

Wikipedia banned editors behind an antisemitic, anti-Israel editing campaign. But nearly two years later, many of their biased edits are still live on the platform. ADL’s new report, Damage Done: Wikipedia Leaves Biased Edits Unchecked Despite Editor Bans, exposes how Wikipedia has failed to clean up the damage. ADL's @orensegaladl explains why banning editors isn’t enough: Wikipedia must correct the biased edits, address antisemitic bias on the platform, and uphold its own standards of neutrality.

Jewish stories suppressed before they reach readers. Authors blacklisted. Israeli publishers boycotted. Books targeted with negative reviews. In ADL's #StateOfTheArts, Missing Chapter identifies seven anti-Jewish trends reshaping the publishing industry since October 7, 2023, based on more than 30 interviews with authors and industry professionals. We took a closer look at how Jewish identity is increasingly treated as a liability in publishing, and how institutions are failing to confront antisemitism. Swipe through the findings. ⚽️ As the most popular sport in the world, soccer has the power to bring people together. It’s a game that should unite us, not divide us, and there can be no place for antisemitism or hate within it. Yesterday, the J7 visited Wembley Stadium to meet with the English Football Association and address antisemitism in sports, including the need for sports authorities to prevent, confront and sanction it. Passion for a jersey can never justify hate against an identity. No one should be afraid to attend a match simply because they are Jewish.

NEW: The ADL Center for Tech & Society identified 19 active accounts continuing to shape Wikipedia's framing of Israel, Hamas and October 7. More than a year after ADL exposed a coordinated campaign to inject antisemitic and anti-Israel narratives into Wikipedia, biased editing continues despite editor bans. While the previously identified coordinated activity declined, a new cohort of editors has carried the work forward through stealthier, harder-to-detect tactics. And the impact extends far beyond Wikipedia. Its content feeds into AI tools and search engine results, spreading these distortions and influencing how millions of people encounter this information. Ireland’s Jewish community may be small, but it is rich in history, tradition and a strong sense of pride. Today in Dublin, the J7 Task Force had the opportunity to hear directly from community members about what makes their community so special. At a time of rising antisemitism in Ireland, standing with this community is more important than ever. In just six months in 2025, its roughly 2,200 members reported 143 antisemitic incidents. Every Jewish community, no matter its size, deserves to feel safe, supported and proud.
