Turns out I also had to debate a second Harvard Professor — the one serving as impartial chair and moderator. Harvard Professor: “Just want to flag that for UNRWA, clearly there are major problematic individuals, and they need to be held accountable. As an institution it has been, you know, a different story.” Hillel Neuer: “What's a different story? I don’t understand.” Harvard Professor: “That as an institution, it is not biased as an institution. The investigation has cleared UNRWA.” Neuer: “Which investigation?” Harvard Professor: “Well, like I said, I'm not an expert on this...” Neuer: “The head of the UNRWA Teachers' Union was Hamas. The head of the Teachers' Union in Lebanon was Hamas. Who was cleared?” Harvard Professor: “I mean, not cleared, but the individuals had been held accountable, they've been fired...” Neuer: “Who was fired?” Harvard Professor: “Those individuals were either removed... Look, I don't want to engage in litigation of all the numbers and facts. The question that I'm interested in is accountability...” Neuer: “I agree, and we have no accountability. Philippe Lazzarini in Switzerland was the head of UNRWA for five years. He was informed repeatedly that the heads of the schools were Hamas leaders. He did nothing. “A recent dispute tribunal of UNRWA issued an opinion a few weeks ago, and they said that UNRWA is obliged to pay death benefits to the family of Fathi Sharif, who was the Hamas commander in Lebanon — because UNRWA had never fired him. He was never fired.”

They didn't want me to share clips, so I decided to post the entire debate. Invited to Harvard to debate whether the United Nations treats Israel equally, I challenged the university itself: Why does Harvard repeatedly host and support U.N. rapporteurs who justify terrorism, including Francesca Albanese, Tlaleng Mofokeng, and Michael Fakhri? I addressed the U.N.’s double standards on Israel, Hamas infiltration of UNRWA, outside funding of U.N. rapporteurs, and Harvard’s responsibility to finally scrutinize the “human rights experts” it promotes.

GOOD NEWS: Thirteen members of the European Parliament have submitted an official parliamentary question to the European Commission, citing our recent investigation that refuted UNRWA’s claims of implementing reforms to address terrorism, antisemitism, and incitement within the UN agency.   Led by Swedish MEP Alice Teodorescu Måwe, the parliamentary challenge demands that the Commission explain how it verifies UNRWA’s claims of reform and whether future EU funding will be conditioned on independently verified progress.    “UNRWA claimed that 41 of these 50 recommendations had been implemented, but UN Watch’s review provides clear evidence to the contrary,” @europaalice wrote.   Read UN Watch’s “Report Card on UNRWA Reform” at unwatch.org or via the link in bio.

Disgusting: U.N. rapporteur on counterterrorism Ben Saul condemns Israel for waging a “vengeful war” against Hamas: “Hamas invaded Israel for 48 hours, and then was repulsed. Israel was going to be fine...”

Writing in The Telegraph, Dr. Alice Jill Edwards, the former UN special rapporteur on torture, just denounced her colleagues Francesca Albanese and Reem Alsalem for denying the October 7 atrocities and ignoring Hamas torture of Israeli hostages: “My colleagues said nothing. I felt ashamed. Great honor to meet with the President of the State of Israel, @isaacherzog. 🇮🇱 I was there on October 7th with an incredible group of Christian leaders oranized by @fozmuseum.official . President Herzog spoke eloquently. He recalled how his grandfather Chief Rabbi Isaac Halevi Herzog, tried to save Jews during the Holocaust, and how his father Chaim Herzog, who would later become Israel’s President, was a British military officer who liberated the Bergen Belsen concentration camp. By contrast, Israel today is a strong and revived nation, a beautiful and successful country, with incredible young people who defend their nation, drive innovation in every field of science and technology, and build new families with a vision for peace and prosperity. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!
