Israel Bonds

Celebrating 75 years of Israel Bonds 🇮🇱 While our delegation came to an end, we reflect on the unforgettable moments, meaningful connections, and shared commitment that brought us together in Israel.

The sound of the shofar, the spirit of Jerusalem, and the strength of our people. 🇮🇱 May this Shabbat bring peace, hope, and renewed strength to Israel and the Jewish people around the world. Shabbat Shalom! 🕯️

Our New Leadership Division and @birthrightisrael_foundation welcomed @melanieshiraz for an evening of inspiration, meaningful conversation, and great company. Melanie spoke about the importance of investing in Israel’s future, especially now, and the role the next generation can play in making a lasting impact. 🇮🇱✨

An unforgettable evening in Jerusalem 🇮🇱 Under the Jerusalem sky at the Tower of David, our International Leadership Delegation came together to celebrate our shared history, our deep connection to Israel, and our commitment to its future. Where Einstein’s legacy lives on📚🇮🇱 Yesterday, our delegation visited the Einstein Archives at the @hebrewuniversity of Jerusalem to learn about Einstein House and Albert Einstein’s legacy. Einstein helped found the university and, in 1951, purchased the 200,000th Israel Bond. From there, we toured the Knesset, Israel’s parliament. We closed the day at Peer Winery in Tal Shahar, a moshav named for Israel Bonds’ first chairman, Henry Morgenthau Jr. 🍷 📸: David Salem & Yossi Zamir

An evening to listen and learn at Beit Halochem 🇮🇱 Our International Leadership Delegation spent an evening with Israel’s disabled veterans. We watched a wheelchair dance by Beit Halochem members Maytal Wax and Sean Ziv, listened as three veterans shared their rehabilitation stories, and heard Daniella Gilboa sing “Shalom Aleichem.” These are the men and women who defended Israel, and their strength is part of what keeps it strong. We are proud to stand with them, and with Israel. Thank you to Beit Halochem and the Zahal Disabled Veterans Organization for welcoming us. 📸: Menahem Kahana

Our international leadership delegation started strong with an unforgettable opening-night dinner honoring Roberta “Bobbie” Goldstein, whose legacy continues to inspire us and whose name our delegation proudly carries. The evening brought together global supporters united by a shared commitment to Israel and the Jewish people, setting the tone for a meaningful week rooted in connection, remembrance, and unwavering solidarity. 📸: Yossi Zamir

Today marks one year since all living hostages came home from Gaza. For 477 days, Daniella Gilboa was held in Gaza. In the darkness of captivity, she and the other hostages held onto a piece of light, welcoming Shabbat with “Shalom Aleichem.” They learnt to sing it in Arabic, as Hebrew was forbidden. Tonight, at Beit Halochem, she sang it in both Arabic and Hebrew, on her own terms. As we celebrate those who came home, we also honor the memory of those who did not, and hold their families close. 🇮🇱

🏅Highlights from an unforgettable evening! We are deeply honored to receive the Presidential Medal of Honor awarded by Israeli President Herzog in recognition of 75 years of strengthening Israel’s economy. This historic milestone reflects the continued global support for Israel and the strength of a community that stands together for the Jewish homeland. 👀 Read more at the link in bio.

As we enter Shabbat Shuvah, the “Shabbat of Return,” we pause to reflect on the year behind us, reconnect with what matters most, and look inward as we prepare for Yom Kippur. May this Shabbat bring moments of reflection, renewal, and peace. Shabbat Shalom. 🩵✨
