Keren Hayesod UIA

Last week, we had the privilege of hosting @eylonalevy former Israeli Government Spokesperson, for a series of events with the Keren Hayesod community across Sweden. We thank all community members and Eylon for their support and mobilization for such an important cause: supporting the rebuilding of Northern Israel 🇮🇱💙 Tack så mycket!

In honor of International Day of the Elderly this October, we visited some of the inspiring women residing at Amigour, a Keren Hayesod-supported organization providing warm, dignified housing for seniors across Israel. We asked them to share the most valuable lessons they have gathered over a lifetime, here are a few of them ⬆️

Every new oleh deserves a soft landing and a strong foundation. Together with our strategic partner, @jewishagency , Absorption Centers all across Israel are giving new Israelis the tools, confidence, and community they need to thrive. Thank you to the worldwide Keren Hayesod community for your support and dedication to strengthening Israel! 💙🤍

Happy Aliyah week! Today we are highlighting how Keren Hayesod supports prospective Olim long before they step onto the plane ✈️ With the support of Keren Hayesod, Ofek Israeli leads these remarkable events all around the globe. Just last week in France, over 2,700 participants gathered for a traveling fair 🇫🇷 These events give future Olim the opportunity to explore their possibilities in Israel, from discovering career paths and housing options to navigating healthcare and Hebrew studies. Participants can meet with representatives from our strategic partner, @jewishagency to open their official Aliyah file and get the Aliyah process officially started. Happy Aliyah Day! 🇮🇱🤍 This week, we are highlighting the ways Keren Hayesod supports Aliyah. Today, we are thrilled to welcome 36 young doctors starting their journey in the “Masa Doctors” program, a flagship initiative of @masaisrael supported by Keren Hayesod. This program provides participants with full wrap-around support: Hebrew studies, guidance within the Israeli healthcare system, and preparation for their medical licensing exams. Upon completion, 36 skilled doctors will join Israel’s medical workforce: a powerful reminder that supporting Aliyah strengthens all of Israeli society! 🩺 Thank you to our global Keren Hayesod family for making this possible, and to Masa Israel Journey and @israelxperience for operating this wonderful program. Welcome to the Hebrew Word of the Month! 💙 Every month, we will introduce a new Hebrew word that connects to our work and mission around the Jewish world. September’s word is Tikvah (תִּקְוָה). For over a century, hope has been our mission. At Keren Hayesod, we turn hope into reality by helping rebuild and empower Israel’s most vulnerable populations. Whether supporting victims of terror, empowering youth in the periphery, or caring for elderly citizens, our mission is to build a stronger future and restore hope where it is needed. Together with our global family, we ensure that no matter the challenges, Israel’s tikvah remains strong 🇮🇱

Thank you for another year of supporting the people of Israel, in every corner of the country! Wishing the entire Keren Hayesod family a Happy and Sweet New Year 🍎🍯
