Hamas wants the International Court of Justice and UN bodies to use the testimonies in the Israeli documentary Naza against Israel, and cites its reception in Venice. Giulio Meotti interviews Yossi Klein Halevi for MEF Online. Halevi, who protested his own government for three years over the hostages, points out that the film names no person and no verifiable incident, that co-director Yuval Abraham said in an Arabic interview that his aim is to shift world opinion against Israel, and that a film built on how the army calculated combatant to civilian ratios argues against the genocide claim rather than for it. A congressman has asked the IRS to look at the Islamic Society of North America after the Middle East Forum documented a Senate campaign operating inside its Detroit convention. MEF's Focus on Western Islamism project found an exhibitor booth under "Abdul for US Senate" banners ahead of the registration desk, T-shirts offered for $50 contributions, QR codes directing attendees to donate or volunteer, and a campaign worker soliciting a donation from a writer who is not a US citizen. ISNA's CEO introduced Abdul El-Sayed to roughly 1,000 attendees as Michigan's Democratic nominee. Rep. Keith Self of Texas asked Treasury whether ISNA intervened in a political campaign and requested an answer within 30 days. ISNA claims the church exemption and files no Form 990.
